To the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Greece,

To the delegates of the 21st Congress,

Dear comrades, The Communist Party of Belgium greets the delegates and expresses its wishes of success for the 21st Congress of the KKE that takes place on 24-27 June 2021. Your congress takes place in the difficult conditions of the pandemic of Covid-19. In this period, we observed how the bourgeois health policies during the last decades (privatization, cuts, poor working conditions) have affected the popular strata. We also could witness the resilience of the working class in front of a new overproduction crisis of the capitalist system. The crisis is a pretext to new massive antiworkers policies and to the reinforcement and the growth of authoritarianism. In Belgium, unemployment and poverty are increasing, while the federal government supports employers’ demand to block wages increase. We follow with great attention the struggle of the working class in Greece, especially against the 10 hours bill and against the repression in universities. In those struggles, the vanguard role, the strength and mobilizations of KKE are an inspiration to the communist movement.

We are also aware about the tribute of the Communist Party of Greece in organizing the International Communist movement, in the struggle against imperialist plans, especially in this period of sharpening imperialist contradictions in the world, in East Mediterranean Sea and in the ex-soviet republics and People’s Democracies, theatre of opposition between the USA, the EU and Russia.

We are sure that your congress will certainly contribute for the forthcomming struggle, for the struggle for socialism-communism.

We hope that we can reinforce the links that unite the belgian and greek working class and our two parties.

 Long Live Proletarian Internationalism,

Long live the KKE,

Workers of the World, Unite!
